National Gallop Budapest

In October of each year, Hungarians celebrate the history of their country’s culture: Budapest’s Hero’s Square is turned into a sand filled racetrack where equestrian skills, hussar culture and Military history are displayed.

Next to horse races, horse shows and carriage competitions take place.

Highlight of the National Gallop is the horse race any Hungarian above 18 years of age may participate in.
